Ut(ah/opia)
The CJCLDS believe(d/s) that it is/was their responsibility to create a righteous city-society to usher in Jesus's Second Coming. They called this city Zion and planned it to be a communitarian theocracy. Originally, this place was to be in Daviess County, Missouri. Joseph Smith prophesied that this was the place that Adam and Eve were sent after being forced out of the Garden of Eden. But, the non-Mormon locals there didn't like the idea of being forced from their homes by these people, and a violent, mobocratic order took over. So, the Saints migrated to the Great Basin to establish a new Zion, a righteous Utopia in what is now Utah.
